Kevin McAndrew
Kevin McAndrew is the director of partnerships for the Doris Duke Foundation. In this capacity, he works across the foundations program areas, building new alliances and collaborations that deepen its impact, accelerate its progress and expand its capabilities.
Prior to joining the foundation, McAndrew led the convening program at the Rockefeller foundation’s Bellagio Center, where he led a team which developed partnerships and grants centered around the power of convening. Before his tenure at the Rockefeller Foundation, McAndrew was the head of corporate impact and innovation at Save the Children, where he led a team which helped develop marquee partnerships with fortune 50 companies and created an internal grantmaking platform to invest in new innovations across Save the Children’s more than 100 country offices. McAndrew has also worked in environmental conservation and citizen science as the corporate engagement lead for Earthwatch Institute.
McAndrew earned a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy and political science, as well as a Master of Business Administration in international business and marketing from the University of Connecticut, where he was a New England Scholar and graduated cum laude. He has served as a board member for Natik, is a trained community mediator and a Moral Leadership Fellow at the HOW institute.
