John Orecchio
John Orecchio serves as the controller at the Doris Duke Foundation, where he is responsible for managing daily accounting operations and financial reporting. In this role, he oversees comprehensive accounting functions, regulatory compliance, risk management, and treasury and cash flow management. He also manages audit activities and ensures the integrity of the financial systems. His focus on fostering accountability and ownership helps maintain the foundation’s financial health and compliance in all operational transactions.
Before joining the foundation, Orecchio held a leadership position at IntegriChain Inc., where he played a pivotal role in the company's growth from generating $10 million to $120 million in annual revenue, transforming it into a prominent pharmaceutical PSO/SaaS entity. At IntegriChain, he led financial reporting and strategic sales planning, managed an international accounting team, streamlined financial processes, improved collections, and spearheaded the implementation of Oracle Netsuite ERP.
Orecchio holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Rutgers University. His extensive background, from audit staff to strategic directorial roles, provides a wealth of expertise, significantly contributing to the financial and operational effectiveness of the Doris Duke Foundation.
