Jay Yoon
Jay Yoon is the investment associate at the Doris Duke Foundation, where she helps the Investments Department manage the portfolio through in-dept monitoring of fund manager relationships, evaluation of potential new investments, and qualitative and quantitative analysis of the portfolio’s characteristics.
Prior to joining the foundation, Yoon was a senior associate for New York Consumer Internet Credit Solutions Team at Silicon Valley Bank, where she supported portfolio management of 30+ NY consumer team’s clients, contributed to closing new deals with early-stage and middle-market companies and assisted with live transactions for a $50 million deal for a social networking company. She also served as a project research intern at The Asia Foundation in Seoul, South Korea, analyzing productivity metrics of North Korean defector entrepreneurship in South Korea and researching sustainable development in Mongolia, China and Korea to evaluate the effectiveness of their policies promoting UNSDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). Her findings were included in a proposal for Northeast Asia Policy Dialogue.
Yoon earned her Bachelor of Arts in government and legal studies and psychology from Bowdoin College.
