Ben Beisswenger

Ben Beisswenger is the chief technology officer at the Doris Duke Foundation. In this capacity, he leads the foundation's technology strategy, emphasizing innovation, efficiency and collaboration across its grantmaking programs, initiatives and public-facing convening centers: Duke Farms and Shangri La.  

Prior to joining the foundation, Beisswenger led the development of cloud systems platforms and constituent relationship management strategies at Emerson Collective and the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative. He brings over a decade of experience in developing technology for social impact. 

Beisswenger holds a Bachelor of Arts in engineering from Dartmouth College and has served as board treasurer for Ledyard Charter School since March 2023, president of the Young Professional Board at City Youth Now (2018-2021) and board secretary for Selamta Family Project (2008-2020).
