Jones Currently Serves as the Chief Investment Officer of Bryn Mawr College
New York, NY - Sept. 6, 2023 – The Doris Duke Foundation (DDF) today announced the election of Brooke Jones to its board of trustees. Jones, who is the first chief investment officer (CIO) at Bryn Mawr College, a selective liberal arts institution, is a seasoned strategist with extensive experience managing philanthropic investments.

Prior to joining Bryn Mawr, Jones spent time at Carnegie Corporation of New York, where she served as a managing director of investments for the philanthropic foundation’s in-house investment team and in several leadership roles. Before that, she led portfolio strategy for emerging markets at the Stanford Management Company.
Jones received her MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a dual degree from the University of Pennsylvania, earning a Bachelor of Science in economics from Wharton and a Bachelor of Arts in international studies from the College of Arts & Sciences.

Jones serves on the investment committees for MIT Investment Management Company (MITIMCO), The New School and CBI, a family office. Jones also serves on the advisory board for the Baupost Group. She is a CIO mentor for Accel-CIO, a program that helps ready and support senior-level diverse asset management talent to pursue CIO positions in non-profit organizations.
