In 2020, DDCF announced the six subspecialty fellows receiving a total of $1.32 million in grants in the second year of the Doris Duke Physician Scientist Fellowship, which aims to fund the research of clinical investigators at the subspecialty fellowship stage of their careers and to promote the transition of emerging scientists into faculty-level positions.
