Guided by our mission, informed by our founder’s vision, and with a commitment to promoting equity and inclusion, the Doris Duke Foundation (DDF) supports the following national grantmaking programs:
Through the Arts Program, the foundation supports performing artists with the creation and public performance of their work, with a particular focus on contemporary dance, jazz and theater artists.
Through the Medical Research Program, the foundation strives to advance the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases by strengthening and supporting clinical research.
Through the Environment Program, the foundation seeks to ensure a thriving, resilient environment for wildlife and people, and to foster an inclusive, effective conservation movement.
Through the Child Well-being Program, the foundation aims to promote children’s healthy development and protect them from abuse and neglect.
Through the Building Bridges Program, the foundation works to elevate U.S. Muslim storytelling with the goal of increasing mutual understanding and well-being among diverse populations for the benefit of building stronger, inclusive communities.
